Methodology

How we measure social value

Our social value is calculated using Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology — the recognised standard for measuring the social, environmental, and economic value generated per pound spent.

For every £1 invested in CSS delivery, we generate £5.21 in social value. That includes employment outcomes, reduced benefits dependency, reduced reoffending, and improved wellbeing.

These numbers are independently verified against Ministry of Justice data, employment statistics, and ESFA outcomes reporting.
